Are they all real flowers?
Yes! The flowers are dried and pressed before they are placed between the
glass. Some come from my garden or the gardens of friends and family and
others I buy from pressed flower experts.
Do the flowers fade?
Some may a little, but over the years, I have discovered a few
different ways to protect the color. I now use a lot of
flowers that are dyed and will not fade. Flowers that
are not dyed are touched up with color by my own process. Greenery
(stems and leaves) may turn tan over time and white flowers may
turn cream in color. Almost all flowers are treated in
some way to enhance and protect their beautiful colors.
Are the pendants made with sterling silver?
No. Each pendant is made as a tiny stained glass project. Copper
foil is wrapped around the glass and burnished to create a tight
seal. Then lead-free silver solder is melted around the foil.
How do I care for my pendant?
It is as durable as any glass pendant or bead. Obviously,
the larger the pendant, the more fragile it is. Keep it dry. The
flowers are sealed in tight to keep out air and moisture, but don’t
wear it in the pool! It is best to store it in a dark place
such as a jewelry box or drawer when you are not wearing it. The
solder can tarnish and darken over time just as sterling would. You
can renew the shine with a polishing cloth. I think a Sunshine
cloth works best.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes, maybe. Just ask!
How long will it take to receive my order?
If I have the pendant(s) in stock, I can get the order out by the
next business day. Larger orders and wholesale orders can
take a 1-3 weeks depending on the size of the order. If
time is a concern, let me know and I will do my best to get your
order out ASAP.
What is your return policy?
You can return any pendant to me within 30 days of purchase. After
that, contact me for possible exchanges only.
Do you have wholesale prices?
Yes. If you are a qualified buyer, please email me the name
of your business and license # to receive wholesale information
and prices. Send wholesale inquiries to lilystudios@wi.rr.com
Can I come and visit your studio?
My studio is in my home and is not open for visits. If you
want to see my pendants up close, please check my show
schedule,
or contact me and I may be able to help you locate a store near
you that carries my pendants.
